Dry van load dispatch is a process in which freight brokers or third-party logistics providers coordinate the logistics of transporting goods by truck. This type of freight transportation is often used for items that are not time-sensitive, such as furniture and large appliances.

Dry van load dispatch is typically done through the dispatch service call center. The broker will give instructions to a truck driver as to what items are being delivered and where they should be delivered, and then coordinate with the shipper as well as other brokers who may be involved in delivering or receiving a shipment. In some cases, the brokers will conduct an online auction for a shipment of goods that is not time-sensitive.
